    From the Principal's Desk:

Dear Parents, Friends and Leschi Community,

Partnering with our community is crucial to Leschi’s success! We are excited about partnering with each of you and want to thank you for supporting our school as we fight to offset the budget shortfalls that have become our current reality. We believe by working together as a learning community we can continue to offer our children the highest quality education in a loving environment that each individual child deserves!

As our economic conditions continue to deteriorate in public education, we rely on help from our community. The Leschi community vision is to help children reach their full potential. One of our fundamental beliefs at Leschi is that children should have a variety of learning experiences. Getting out into the community, experiencing the arts, working with a published author, exploring cooking and nutrition, learning how to respectfully resolve conflict, exploring the world of technology and becoming social advocates for justice are all powerful learning opportunities that we provide for students at Leschi. We feel these experiences continue to make Leschi a unique school. Additionally, we count on this funding to provide in class support to help our curious and amazing students become independent learners that can achieve their goals and dreams. Our annual fundraising campaigns are a crucial part of providing the funding to make these opportunities continue to be a meaningful experience for each and every child at Leschi.

I want to extend a personal, whole-hearted thank you in advance for your support and generosity towards the children at Leschi Elementary and in our community. I truly do believe that together, we can provide and maintain our school community where all children grown, thrive and shine!

Thanks again for your support and your investment in our future!
