Students may arrive beginning at 7:40. They can either go to breakfast in the cafeteria or stay on the playground. Students will line up in front of their class’s sign and wait for teachers to pick them up at 7:55. For the first week, parents/families may bring their child down onto the blacktop. Beginning the week of 9/11, families should drop their student off and remain on 31st St. Please ensure your student arrives by 7:55. After that time the gate will be locked and students will enter through the front door.

Teachers will walk their classes out at 2:25 and dismiss them directly to buses, childcare, or caregiver. Caregivers can wait by the gate on 31st or come to the black top. Launch students will dismiss directly to Launch. Any student not picked up by 2:40 will go to the office and families will be called.

Snacks at School

This year at Leschi snacks will be managed by the teacher within the classroom. Please communicate with the teacher directly regarding individual student snack needs. Students will not take food out to recess after lunch or for their grade level recess.
